Society for Investigative Dermatology (SID) 2025 Annual Meeting
Lab members gather for a photo during poster presentations. Five trainees¡¯ posters were selected for the event, with three accepted for mini symposium presentations. Additionally, both Drs. Navsaria and Alvarez received travel grants for the conference.

Gabriella Alvarez received a $10,000 Resident/Fellow Research Grant from the Melanoma Research Foundation to work on research for melanoma incidence, presentation and outcomes in minorities with diabetes.

Cassandra Mohr received the prestigious 2023 ISID Tokyo travel grant and ADEN Trainee Award (Pre-Doctoral Trainee Award) where she presented at a mini symposium for an abstract entitled, ¡°Skin Cancers in Patients with Actinic Keratosis.¡± Additionally, Cassandra had a poster presentation for her abstract, ¡°Melanoma Risk in Skin of Color Patients with a History of Keratinocyte Carcinoma."

May 2025: Dr. Mackenzie Wehner was chosen as one of ten 2025 Sabin Family Foundation grant recipients for the expansion of a pilot study to inform clinical practice by comparing standard of care topical field treatment to a combination therapy in individuals with multiple actinic keratoses.
