Join Our Lab
Postdoctoral Fellows
We have open postdoctoral positions. Potential projects include:
- Defining the role of the tRNA epitranscriptome in leukemia progression.
This project aims to utilize next-generation sequencing and direct RNA sequencing approaches such as nanopore sequencing to characterize the role the tRNA epitranscriptome plays in T cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T-ALL) progression. - Defining the transcriptional circuit regulating tRNA transcription in normal and malignant hematopoiesis.
- Developing new CRISP-based tools for functional genomics of tRNA in hematological malignancies.
Candidates, particularly senior graduate students, interested in the projects outlined should email Palaniraja Thandapani, Ph.D., to apply and include a CV, career objectives and names of three references.
Graduate Students
The Thandapani Lab is actively recruiting graduate students interested in tRNA biology, CRISPR screens, translational control and cancer development. Students are welcome to join us for a rotation in the lab and are encouraged to email Palaniraja Thandapani, Ph.D., to discuss potential projects in the laboratory.
