Members of the Sood Laboratory spend a lot of time in the lab working in tissue culture, treating mice and collecting and analyzing data. In between experiments, it¡¯s common for members to gather in the break area for lunchtime catch-ups, afternoon snacks or impromptu chats. During the holiday season, they celebrate with a potluck featuring cultural dishes provided by lab members.
Every year, lab members have a team for the Sprint For Life race/walk benefitting ovarian cancer research, many years designing a team t-shirt. Additionally, many lab members enjoy playing sports (from tennis to volleyball and beyond), practicing music and exploring Houston.
