Welcome to the Shang Lab. We develop effective and efficient statistical and artificial intelligence (AI) tools in single cell and spatial transcriptomics to address critical problems in cancer biology. Our lab connects complex biological questions with rigorous quantitative analysis, facilitating a comprehensive understanding of cancer genomics data and its implications. Our goal is to elucidate the functional organization of the tissue microenvironment. We aim to understand cellular heterogeneity in tissue, uncover mechanisms of disease etiology, leverage multi-omics data integration for translational research and bridge the gap between molecular insights and clinical applications.
