Our research interests are focused on how cancer therapy, particularly radiation therapy and chemotherapy, affects the male reproductive system. This is an important issue for patients as sperm production is very sensitive to these agents resulting in prolonged or permanent azoospermia and infertility.
Research in the Meistrich Laboratory
Our primary focus is fertility preservation in young male cancer patients.
