Fumiko Chino, M.D., assistant professor in Breast Radiation Oncology at MD Anderson, is one of the Directors at the Costs of Care group, a NGO working to improve affordability in healthcare. Her research is focused on patient-centered care including the financial toxicity of cancer care and survivorship, healthcare disparities, equity and access. She is the recipient of the inaugural 2022 ASCO Excellence in Equity Award.
