As part of the Pathway in Systems Imaging Summer Program, interns participate in a series of laboratory-led tours designed to broaden their exposure to the diverse research areas within the Department of Cancer Systems Imaging. Faculty and staff guide students through active research labs, shared insights into cutting-edge technologies, and introduce them to the collaborative, multidisciplinary approaches that drive discoveries within the department.

A highlight of these tours is a visit to the Small Animal Imaging Facility, where interns learn how advanced imaging modalities are applied in preclinical research to study cancer biology and evaluate novel therapies. The experience provides a behind-the-scenes look at the powerful tools and resources that support translational imaging research.
